Non-Medical Psychology
You will study such topics as research work, classical scientific works on specialty, psychodynamic personality theories, familiarity with current technologies and methods of practical psychology in social spheres, correlating them with experience, mastering the basic tools and procedures that a qualified psychologist should master.
In the first year, you will gain skills in the basic disciplines of psychology, pedagogy, the history of philosophy, the psychology of interpersonal cognition, the theoretical and methodological foundations of psychology, the methodology of research in psychology, the teaching of psychology in the system of higher and additional education, the psychology of emotions and the motivation of professional activity before engaging in more specialized sections as your interests develop.
In the second year, you will learn more advanced theories and methods, Modern Methods of Statistics in Psychology, Psychosomatics and Health Psychology, Psychological Aspects of Suicide and Dependence. You will learn to analyze data from quantitative models and you select two additional courses. For example, Neuropsychological rehabilitation of Patients and the Fundamentals of Examination and Differential Psychology as options that attract exceptions from professional exams.
